Who will win The Amazing Race Asia 3?

I hope it will be Vince & Sam or Ida & Tania!  Though I’m a Filipino (loud and proud), I’m not voting for my country’s team representative.  Sorry!

While I am waiting for my project deployment to finish, I thought of writing this article and tell everyone how I love to watch reality shows.  I find them entertaining and fun to watch.  Here are some of those that I really like:

American Idol.  This show has produced some of the big selling artists today (though I am not a fan of all of them) – Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Katherine McPhee, Jennifer Hudson, etc.  Seeing random people doing their very best in auditions is a good part but seeing them turned down by the judges especially Simon Cowell (plus his in-your-face comments) is the best!  Plus, the show has the best host ever!

The Amazing Race
Asia.  I haven’t seen any of the episodes of the first 2 seasons but I think, the show is good.  As the teams travel to different locations by following the route information, performing some various tasks, and checking in at the Pit Stop.  The last team to arrive may be eliminated, depending on the rule set for each leg. 

Since I am a Filipino, a lot of people would expect to vote for my country’s representative.  But, sad to say, I don’t want them to win because they are the meanest team this season.  Instead I’m voting for the Hong Kong Boys (Sam and Vince) to win or maybe Ida and Tania! 

I heard that this show has ended but no one can disclose the results.  Well, let’s see!

Cheaters.  “Exercise your right to be informed!” – This is the famous line from this show.  It attempts to investigate one’s infidelity activities.  My favorite part: the Confrontation! Hosted by the Joey Greco, this show is a must-see!

Punk’d.  Hosted (and also produced) by Ashton Kutcher, this show performs practical jokes to Hollywood celebrities.  This is very entertaining to watch as celebrities play cool or worse, freak out!

TMZ.  I’m just not sure on what TMZ means but one thing’s for sure, this show rocks!  Seeing your favorite Hollywood star on the most unexpected moment is truly an entertainment.

I got inspired by the column written by one showbiz reporter on the newspaper today.  Entitled ‘Celebrity Quirks’, some of the important and not so important personalities tell their odd habits.  This article tackles, obviously, my own, somewhat, weird routines:

1.  When eating sinigang na bangus, I should also have pritong bangus on the side.  It’s the best combination for me!

2.  My alarm clock always fail to wake me up in the morning, but leaving my room’s door open and hearing somebody’s talking outside will drag me out of the bed!

3.  I cannot afford to leave the house without wearing a watch and my necklace.  I feel somehow, naked these accessories on.

4.  I don’t stick to one brand of hair conditioner.  The more brands, the better for me, I mean for my hair!

5.  No matter how cold the weather is, I can’t sleep or get dressed without an electric fan on.  It’s automatic for me to turn the fan on especially when I just got out of the bathroom, even though the aircon is running!

6.  I can’t start eating without drinking half glass of cold water.

7.  When buying something, I always keep the receipt and keep it ’til my wallet pops!

8.  Whenever I see a commercial ad on the street, I have this habit of figuring out what the illustration wishes to convey in connection with the product or service being endorsed.

9. I love to collect cute boxes of all kinds and all sizes.  Sometimes, I buy things just for their boxes.

10.  Before eating a burger, I always look what’s in between those buns.  Plus, I don’t like pickles on my burger.

11.  Lots of people go for the crab fats (aligue) but I go for the 2 front legs (sipit).  It’s yummy!

12.  I find it very enjoyable to take pictures of kids.  No wrong angle!
